Leather vs Synthetic Lifting Belts: What Are You Actually Buying?

“Leather belt” can describe very different products. So can “synthetic belt.” Product photos often hide the details that matter: what the load-bearing layers are made from, how they are bonded, how the edges are finished and how the buckle or lever is mounted. Natural leather

Nylon and woven belts

· Edge construction: clean finishing with no early separation.

· Lever mounting: holes and fasteners should be clean, aligned and secure.
· Hardware: the lever should close positively and move smoothly without excessive play.
